Dead Ruffians Are Good Ruffians - Part 2 (Finished)

The 1st one to act is the giant spider. Not only is she quick, but she plants her fang in its head pumping poison directly into the soft tissue. The thugs dies but dangle a few second as HELLUVA's fangs hold him up, her bite chewing through the skull.

KEPESK is next and he finally arrives at our location, letting go of an arrow. The projectile must go through us and he misses, being WAAAYYY too careful about not inflicting us some stingy pain.

TAL, right beside the newly arrived unicorn, (I still can't believe a unicorn is in the room with us) is a little confused by the turn of event. By now a combat veteran, the gnome moves to a spot, fires a bolt, and hits his target with a grazing wound.

Surrounded by his dead friends, one of the surviving thug gives his all as he attack RESPIN with his shorsword. Having a piece of sharp metal missing it by inches, the unicorn gets nervous and kicks the ruffian, trying to crush his skull but to no avail.

DWOMDIN, laughing loudly at how awesome his companions are today, recklessly attacks the thug in front of him. The red brand fights back drawing some dwarven blood.

The unicorn use the chaos to impale the Red Brand fighting DWOMDIN, piercing its chest with it horn. Throwing aside the limp corpse, it kicks anew the thugs located behind it. This time, the guy's neck can't take the hit and is beheaded... Well, technically he is not beheaded as some pieces of meat still keep it attached to its lifeless corpse. This turns out to be a mess as blood starts pooling everywhere.

With all the enemies dead in the room, we look at one another for an instant... Wondering what to do next and not daring to ask the unicorn what it is doing in here.

Taking Down the Red Brands

We all are dumbfounded by the unicorn's unexplained presence. As we silently decide what to do next, an opened door in the room opens revealing a huge bugbear that immediately rushes us.

The battle rages back on and we quickly put down Stupid. There are still a few noteworthy highlights.

The first was RESPIN's first attack, swinging his two-handed sword like a pro, tearing a huge piece of thick and leathery flesh out of the bugbear making the mother*ucker yell in pain.

Then there was HELLUVA, not only growing claws, but, after a bloody attack on her foe, she whispers something about the wind and she disapeared!!?? Wuow...

Finally a few good hits and the lil'guy and 'I-am-gonna-kill- you-all' fucktard is dead.

I quickly run down the new corridor, trying to find the place's boss but I end up in the already explored section of the cave. Fuck!!!

But, lucky me, I am not in the room when a magical ball of fire explodes in the room... He he.. I can hear the detonation, feel some of the heat, and the voices of my companions yelling in pain. From the panicked voices, I quickly understand that HELLUVA is down.

ADOLPHO the unicorn, yep! You heard right, the unicorn's name is ADOLPHO, mystically teleport to the enemy side... He is quite unnerved by the appearance of mythical, horned horse beside him I can guarantee you! However, ADOLPHO ignores the enemy and touch HELLUVA. The horned's magic infused her with life and she fight her way back to conciousness. She opens her eyes, angry, gets up and magically makes the unicorn double in size. It REEAALY starts smelling horse in the basement...

KEPESK continues supporting us with his bow, pincushioning the boss... The guy cannot take the pain and he starts yelling that he surrenders... What the fuck! Really! Grumbling and cursing in dwarven'

Glassstaff the Glass Canon

As Mr. I-Wave-My-Medical-Stress-Chit Glassstaff faints, ADOLPHO tells us that he is a love unicorn from Love Island. One by one, he heals us.

Now comes the interesting part... Looting the bad guys.. We find a LOT of good stuff. As we investigate the last unexplored door, we discover that it leads into GLASSSTAFF's room where we find a signed letter.

HELLUVA, after a well-deserved short rest, is able to understands what is the magic of the glass eye and, after some discussion with KEPESK, she decides that it might be useful for her... And she get to the business of removing her eye from its socket before putting the magical thing in its place. BLIX can't take the gore and leave the room for a few moments... He he...

As KEPESK and HELLUVA are sorting this out, I kinda discover a secret door. With BLIX and TAL's help, we open it and I explore it

At the same time, HELLUVA and KEPESK discover that the prisonner: is faking unconsciousness. LARNO, that's his name, tries to convince us that he is one of the good guys, or least, he used to be... He asks us to give him a fair trial and bring him out so that he can be judge by regular justice... We are done with his bullshit and we tell him to shut up as continue with the exploration... Only to discover that we already explored everything.

Further questioning LARNO tells us that the black spider is a drow, a woman. It seems that she already found the Echoe Caves and that the bugbear probably knew its location. What a mess... However, I am happy to not be the one that caused it this time. We also learn that all the local Red brand were at the ruined manor, which means that we dealth with all of them.

HELLUVA then casts a spell of augury and she informs us that the question she asked had a good COA... I just can't remember the question... Bullocks...

We shishkebab GLASSSTAFF and go back to town...
